Our
Business Structure

The Group changed its operating structure during the 2015 financial year, from four operating subsidiaries, Foodcorp, Rainbow, TSB and Vector, to three business divisions:

Consumer Division (which houses Rainbow as well as Foodcorp’s Grocery, Beverage, Pie and Speciality divisions), Sugar & Milling Division (which houses TSB, Rainbow’s Feed division Epol and Foodcorp’s Milling and Baking divisions) and Logistics Division (consisting of Vector Logistics, which provides logistics and sales service for RCL FOODS and third party customers).

There is also a Group Shared Services function that oversees issues pertaining to finance, information technology, human resources, strategy & corporate affairs, legal & regulatory affairs, risk & audit.

Consumer Division

Our Consumer Division consists of a vast range of household food products, beverages and convenience food brands to cater to the nutritional needs of the South African public. Products in this division range from fresh and frozen chicken to pies, beverages, peanut butter and pet food.

Sugar & Milling Division

Our Sugar & Milling Division houses a range of brands which provide sugar, animal feed, maize meal and baked goods through various mills, bakeries and processing plants across the country.

The Sugar & Milling Division consists of 3 business units:  Sugar, Millbake and Animal Feeds

Logistics Division

As a comprehensive logistics and supply chain intelligence company, Vector Logistics offers a range of services to principals and customers, including bulk cold storage solutions, supply chain management, primary transport and trade solution consulting. Our fleet of over 370 vehicles transports food products throughout South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.

SERVICES

From supply chain intelligence to cold storage warehousing and product distribution, Vector offers manufacturers and retail customers a comprehensive range of logistical solutions.

Group Services

Group Services has a shared responsibility to oversee issues which involve and affect all parts of the company, across all three of the business divisions. These include finance, information technology, human resources, strategy & corporate affairs, legal & regulatory affairs, risk & audit.
